WHAT HAPPENS IN A brain training SESSION?

Our Brain Training sessions are designed to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. During a session, you have the choice to watch the screen, read a book or even take a nap. The magic is within the dynamical software and therefore does not need any particular kind of activity or mindset to engage fully with the experience. 

At each session, five (5) sensors are attached to your ears and head which will detect changes in your brain’s electrical activity and feed that back into NeurOptimal®s Brain Training software. The system does all the work, providing feedback to your brain. You will notice music through the headphones and when the music skips a beat or two, it’s in these moments, that the optimisation is happening within your brain.

Each session takes 33-minutes and you are likely to feel calmer, clear-headed, less anxious or agitated and have a sharper focus. Little by little, the brain learns the value of being in this state and elevates itself to an optimal level.

It’s important to understand that NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback is not a medical treatment, device or methodology. It is not used to diagnose medical disorders nor is it used as a medical treatment for disorders and has not been approved for any medical purpose. NeurOptimal® is solely used as a tool for brain training and optimisation and not as a means of diagnosis or as a medical intervention. It is not possible to predict what your central nervous system will do with the information it is offered and consequently there can be no guarantee as to the results of your training.

The number of sessions required to see results with NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback Brain Training can vary depending on individual needs and goals. However, many people report experiencing some benefits even after just one or a few sessions.
